sad rad is leaving young street & expanding into the even better multi headed all ages beast that it was always meant to be, so for the rest of march there will be a series of all local shows to raise a shit ton of funds & also celebrate how much the community has come together in the past year as a result of sad rad's existence.
serious punk love!!!
all ages. no drinking!
What is the reason that Sad Rad is closing? I'm bummed to hear about and I hope something good grows out of it.

Sorry - why is it leaving the location it's in? I've just heard some depressing rumours and I wanted to confirm they were true.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my eye out. What is the budget/range you're looking for? Does he have to be in Halifax?
Have you looked into the space at the Museum of Natural History that Carbon arc uses, there was a suggestion that that space could be rented out as a practice space. Maybe they'd be willing to use it as a performance space too. I wonder if there is space in the Roy Building on Barrington st that could be rent/leased.
we'll likely write a collective response to the situation & rumours soon, but right now we're just focused on march being an amazing month for local shows.
ReplyDeletehope you understand.
Of course! Sorry to seem prying, not my intent.
