astral gunk - s/t cassette (2012) review

Astral Gunk are from some far away place with zombies, werewolves , lazer guns, and teenagers. Probably Sackville. They sound like the sound track to some 80’s horror movie about summer vacation or maybe what I would listen to while playing tony hawks pro skater 3. This tape makes me want to cause mayhem in a shopping mall. You’ll probably like this if you like summer better than winter.
But a more technical description of this tape if you want: telephone vocals and effects pedals + guitar and base driven. Apokabilly, surf, noise, rock band. And I think they are fucking awesome.
